The main objective of the project “Science and Religion: Global Perspectives” is to understand how the relationship between science and religion is perceived in various social, political, cultural and religious contexts. The research emphasizes understanding the relationship between religion and theories of evolution, as well as understanding how the scientific community and society in general perceive this relationship.
The project is led by the University of Birmingham in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Barcelona. The study is also being carried out in Germany, Argentina, Australia, the United States and Sri Lanka in collaboration with universities in each of these countries.
